While in the area we decided to see some western music and have our evening meal, both together. We were very happy that we came here. Once the whole audience has been seated, you all get welcomed and then it is meal time. It is very well organised and even though you queue for your food, you are seated in a few minutes. (It is not a bun fight like at an ordinary buffet) I ordered the steak, wow, it covered my plate. These Americans know how to do a steak. After the meal the music show started. The songs were mostly the well known sing along's. The performers were first class and we had a brilliant night. If there was one thing that we would have liked it was for it to go on a bit longer.
This Western dinner show is offered nightly during the summer season. It features live entertainment by the famous Bar G Wranglers. Feast on a 14oz rib eye, fresh broiled salmon, baked chicken or pulled pork BBQ meal, including cowboy beans, Dutch oven potatoes, corn bread, dessert and beverage, from a classic western chow line instead of the typical buffet! Then enjoy a highly-acclaimed authentic Western music show featuring the Bar G Wranglers. Doors open at 7 pm and dinner is served at 8 pm. 435-834-5341 ext. 7099.
“Great time - would go again”
I was at Ebenezer's in Sept. 2011 with a tour group of people (56) of people from Michigan. We had a great time at Ebenezer's! I was a bit daunted at first about standing in a line (chuck line, I guess, how fun) to get our dinners but it went surprisingly fast. We enjoyed the food, the music and the show very much.
“We spent a great evening”
We went May 20th, the day of the eclipse of the sun. We spent a great evening. Excellent music, the musicians were very fun
This is not high class dining but there is plenty of it and its tasty! The show is entertaining!, the cast work hard and as a Brit it was just what I wanted to see at a Cowboy Dinner!

The Dinner Show was great, the best we have ever seen, including Branson. The entertainers are multi-talented, wonderful harmony, great arrangments with special effects, the guitar and fiddle playing was professional. If in the Bryce Canyon area, do not miss this show.

We were attracted to go all'Ebenezer's a billboard that promoted western dinner and show at about $ 35. The restaurant is located inside a shed, but as you enter you come catapulted into a real Dinner Theater. The greeters /actors/ band/ welcome you very kindly by dividing the customers on large round tables for 6/8 people. If are like us you are only two, you find yourself so to share the evening with strangers, fortunately for us the table companions were all very interesting (the Texans, a Hawaiian and a Frenchman ... sounds like a joke) with which exchange travel impressions and anecdotes. The organization of self-service is efficient although for the price they could do better on their food, in an orderly line present the ticket at the counter and serve you on a platter dinner. The steak was good as well as vegetables and mashed potatoes, certainly not the best but not the worst restaurants of Americans, the non-alcoholic beverage is also to the self-service and can be refilled whenever you want. When the entertainment we realize now that the musicians know their stuff !!, the songs are very beautiful and exciting, but at the same time you do not have time to be bored. Great to spend a good evening, but take it with a lot of fun!

“Performing a 3-part harmony of traditional songs of the Old West, the Bar G Wranglers have entertained audiences throughout Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada and across the Great American West for over 10 years. Add to that a fiddle hoe-down or two, some cowboy yodeling, a roping exhibition and some down home cowboy humor and it will be an evening to talk about for years to come! ST.George.USA.org”
Great way to spend a couple hours and take in some of the local "Cowboy" culture! The food was decent (we had the chicken) and the entertainment was surprisingly better than expected. I spent nearly as much money on far inferior meals elsewhere in the area (i.e Ruby's cowboy just another buffet ...yuck) so was quite pleased with entire experience. The hosts/performers were very hospitable and engaging. Glad we went! Visited June 2012

BAR G WRANGLERS OPEN 2011 CONCERT IN THE PARK SERIES
The City of St. George is pleased to kick off its 2011 Concert in the Park Series season with the Bar G Wranglers on Monday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. These free concerts are held the second Monday of each month through September at Vernon Worthen Park, 300 South 400 East in St. George.
The Bar G Wranglers Western band was formed in 1998 by Russ Eacker, a former member of the Bar J Wranglers out of Jackson Hole, Wyo. The group's winter and spring members include Eacker (bass fiddle and vocals), Layne Benson (lead guitar and vocals), Seth Weil (fiddle, vocals and yodeler), and Jay Evans (rhythm guitar and vocals).
They have a very busy summer season at Ebenezer's Barn and Grill in Bryce Canyon City. They perform from May 1 through October 15, seven nights a week, serving up a chuck wagon style dinner with a Western show to follow. During their summer season, the Wranglers are joined by Seth's wife, Cassy (rhythm guitar and vocals), and his brother Aaron (guitar picker, yodeler and vocals).
The Wranglers' list of performances include the 2002 Winter Olympics venue at Thanksgiving Point (alternating nights with the Osmonds), five years at the Western Legends Round-up in Kanab, four years at the Canyon Country Western Music Festival in Cedar City, and many other events both near and far. They have also shared the stage with George "Goober" Lindsey and have performed at events that have featured the Riders in the Sky, the Sons of the San Joaquin, and Don Edwards.
We absolutely loved this place. Driven initially by the urge to avoid eating again at the best western's Ruby's grill (once was enough) we checked up on trip advisor and decided to take a punt on it. The omens were not good, 4 choices of dinner and a western 'show' - and communal tables which have to queue for dinner .....
we could not have been more wrong. From the minute we got there the welcome was genuine and once they found out that my husband was a musician (we're not shy) they added another level to the hospitality, with great friendliness. The show itself was brilliant. All the cheesy stuff like whip and rope tricks, but done with style, and musically they are really top notch. Fantastic instrumentals and harmonies, well rehearsed. The table seating forced us to get chatting to other diners and we all agreed that the food was surprisingly tasty. They are funny, and professional and it makes a terrific change from the usual bar and grill evenings. Thank you Seth, thank you Cassy - we hope you go from strength to strength
“Good food-great entertainment”
One of the best shows of this kind we have ever seen, the "guitar and fiddle players were excellent". Crowd was involved, well worth the money.
The food was very good, would do it again.
“A fun evening at Ebenezer's Barn & Grill”
We enjoyed our evening very much. The food was good, and there was plenty of it! The show was very entertaining. I got to go onstage during the part of the performance where they included people from the audience and it was lots of fun! We were pleasantly surprised with the speed of dinner service as well. The lines went surprisingly fast - very well organized! Thanks for a wonderful evening!
we went on the evening of our wedding and totally enjoyed our evening. the food is great and entertainment was fun. these guys are talented and the show is enjoyable for adults (and ok to bring children). real "out west" experience.
